Bio

Marshal Parks is a personal injury and elder abuse attorney at Maurer Law whose prior practice was shaped by nearly a decade defending personal injury cases for one of the nation’s largest automobile insurance companies. In his prior practice, Marshal developed an in-depth understanding of how insurers evaluate, defend, and resolve injury claims.

Today, Marshal uses his defense background to advocate for individuals and families – instead of the insurance company – and those facing serious injuries and complex legal challenges. His practice includes spine, brain, and joint injury cases, catastrophic injury claims, ski crash cases, and motor vehicle collisions. Having handled more than a thousand accident-related matters throughout his career, Marshal brings a strategic and practical approach to every case.

Born and raised in Placer County, Marshal attended Jesuit High School before earning a degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to becoming an attorney, he owned and operated a produce company in San Francisco. He later earned his law degree from McGeorge School of Law, graduating with Dean’s List honors and membership in the Traynor Honor Society.

Marshal has practiced law for over a decade and now proudly serves clients in the community he calls home. He lives in Placer County with his wife, children, and pets, and enjoys snowboarding and other outdoor activities throughout the Sierra Nevada region.
