A native New Mexican, I earned my Masters Degree in Public Administration and then my Juris Doctorate both from the University of New Mexico. I have been practicing law since 1997 and I’m licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal District Court, and NM Courts. I gained extensive trial experience while a trial attorney with the Public Defender Office and have tried numerous civil jury trials and arbitrations. I have tried over 100 bench trials and more than 70 civil and criminal jury trials. My practice focuses on personal injury cases and insurance claims. I represent those injured in auto wrecks, tractor trailor crashes, motor cycle crashes, drunk driving crashes, slip and falls, dog bites, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice and insurance cases. I speak Spanish fluently. Our clients are very improtant to us. At the Rios Law Firm we work as a team to protect our clients and their rights.
