Jordan M. Jewkes is the founder and managing attorney of The Jewkes Firm, LLC, a Georgia personal injury law firm headquartered in Tyrone with offices in Griffin and LaGrange. For nearly two decades, Jordan has represented injured people and grieving families across South Atlanta — including Fayette, Coweta, Spalding, and Troup counties — in cases involving car accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.

A Former Insurance Defense Lawyer Now Fighting for the Injured
Jordan began his career defending insurance companies against injury claims. Consequently, this experience now benefits his clients: he understands how insurers evaluate claims, the tactics adjusters use to minimize payouts, and how defense lawyers build their cases. After years as a litigation attorney at a prominent Georgia personal injury firm, Jordan founded The Jewkes Firm to provide injured Georgians the personal attention and aggressive advocacy they deserve.

Certified as a mediator ( Henning Mediation and Arbitration, 2023), and trained in alternative dispute resolution, Jordan seeks to resolve claims efficiently through negotiation or mediation whenever it benefits the client. However, he prepares every case for trial—and insurance companies know he is ready to try it.

Record-Setting Results for Georgia Injury Victims
Jordan’s results speak for themselves, having secured millions in compensation for his clients. In 2025, Jordan obtained a $1.9 million jury verdict in a rear-end collision case — the largest verdict ever recorded in Butts County, Georgia — for a client with approximately $100,000 in past medical bills. Other representative results include a $1.7 million settlement for the wrongful death of an unborn child in a car wreck (2025); an $875,000 settlement for a tree-fall injury along a state road (2024); a $475,000 settlement for a slip and fall on ice at a gas station (2025); and a $500,000 settlement for an apartment-complex slip and fall requiring a total knee replacement. Leadership in the Georgia Legal Community
Jordan served as President of the Fayette County Bar Association in 2017 after holding every officer role — treasurer, secretary, and vice president. He has been a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association since 2011 and also belongs to the Atlanta Bar Association.

Moreover, Jordan frequently authors and lectures on personal injury law. His publications and seminars include “Deposing the Doctor” (Workers’ Compensation Law Institute), “Five Things Every Attorney Should Know About Medical Malpractice” (Verdict Magazine), and Fayette County Bar Association CLE presentations on litigating premises liability cases and legal ethics. He regularly teaches at the People’s Law School on topics such as medical malpractice and insurance contracts.

Education, Bar Admissions & Honors
Jordan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in business management, from Brigham Young University in 2004. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2007. There, Jordan was a national champion in the 2006 William H. Daniel Mock Trial Competition and earned Best Brief honors on the Moot Court Board. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2007 and the State Bar of Georgia in 2009. His honors include selection to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2017–2018) and the Avvo Client’s Choice Award.

Community
Outside the courtroom, Jordan remains rooted in South Atlanta—teaching local elementary students about the legal profession on career days and volunteering with the Midwest Food Bank. He treats every client the way he treats his neighbors: like family.
