Bio

Mr. Garrow is senior trial attorney with the Garrow Law Firm PLLC, where he represents individuals seriously injured as result of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, wrongful death and corporate malfeasance. He practices nationally with a network of trial attorneys handling cases for injury victims throughout the country.

Mr. Garrow is a member of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia State Bar associations. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC. Additionally, he is a long time member of the American Association for Justice, the National Bar Association and the Washington Bar Association. He also has taught business law and litigation on the college level as an adjunct instructor.

Mr. Garrow has been named to the 2020 class of Super Lawyers^®, a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

As the former Executive Director of a national nonprofit serving low-income youth and their families, Mr. Garrow has a successful history of designing model behavioral programs for children, youth and parents. Because of this expertise, he was selected by the Mayor of the District of Columbia to serve as the Chair of the newly created Fathers, Men and Boys Commission, an advisory arm to the Mayor and City Council on social, economic and educational issues affecting the lives of boys and men in the Nation’s Capital. He also is the former Vice Chair of the Board of the DC Children’s Trust Fund, a nonprofit focused on preventing child abuse and neglect through education and advocacy.

Mr. Garrow frequently has been a TV and radio media guest discussing issues pertinent to children, youth and parents, and legal and business affairs affecting injury victims. A native of Hampton, Virginia, he received his law degree from the University of Virginia Law School and an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College.
