Bio

Connie Grace is the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association’s 2016 Outstanding Trial Lawyer. She concentrates her practice in personal injury, trucking litigation, automobile accidents, insurance law, premises liability, products liability, residential home malpractice, medical devices, and employment law with 100 percent of her practice devoted to litigation.

She is licensed to practice law  in Arkansas, Oklahoma, U.S. District Court in the Eastern & Western Districts of Arkansas, and U.S. Court of Appeals – Eighth Circuit. She is also a Certified Arkansas Mediator. She has taken almost 100 personal injury cases to trial. In 2014, she became a member of National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers.

She graduated with honors from Henderson State University and graduated with high honors with her master’s degree at Louisiana State University. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law with honors. Her numerous top paper awards in law school included C.J.S. awards in civil procedure and property law.

She was assistant survey editor of the Law Journal and published Employment Discrimination, UALR Law Journal Vol. 19:4. From 1996-99, Ms. Grace clerked at the Arkansas Supreme Court. Since 1999, she has practiced civil litigation exclusively for plaintiffs. In 2006, she graduated from the Trial Lawyers College founded by Gerry Spence in Wyoming, and has since attended several graduate seminars, most recently in 2015.

She served as the regional representative of the F-Warrior Board for the five-state area of Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Mississippi. Connie is active in the  Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and currently serves on its Board of Governors.

Recent verdicts include a $12.771 Million verdict in favor of the Estate of Christian Ellis Hayes vs. Park Plaza Mall, CMBS, et. al. and Goshien vs. Centers for Youth and Family in Pulaski County which resulted in a $680,000 verdict on behalf of a mentally ill teenager.

She has negotiated significant settlements due to her trial preparation, litigation skills, and negotiation skills. Professional experience in business and education committed Connie to working for people who have been injured due to the fault of others.  She regularly judges student trial competitions and is a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Little Rock.
