Bio

Christopher B. Newbern is committed to fighting for plaintiffs and families harmed by the negligence of others. Chris graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. He began his legal career at a premier defense firm in Atlanta, where he represented local and national businesses on behalf of some of the world’s largest insurance companies. Chris met his law partners Ed and Mike at a nationally renowned trial firm specializing in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Since then, Chris has helped clients to obtain millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements, including multiple verdicts in excess of $10 million, a $7 million verdict, and numerous multi-million-dollar settlements.

At Piasta Newbern Walker, LLC, Chris focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases of all types, including cases involving premises liability, negligent security, construction accidents, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, product liability, and professional malpractice. Chris has been recognized as a "Top 40 under 40" trial lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers, a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine (an award given to only 2.5% of attorneys in Georgia), and among "America's Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys."

Chris is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Jordan. They live together in Marietta, Georgia near the Historic Marietta Square with their son, William.
