Bio

CHRISTINE SPAGNOLI is a partner with Greene, Broillet and Wheeler, a plaintiff’s law firm that specializes in civil consumer, business and traumatic personal injury trials, including product liability, professional liability, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, automobile, civil rights and other consumer and tort actions.

She graduated from Loyola University School of Law, Los Angeles in 1986 cum laude, and served as an Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. In 2017 she was honored by the American Association of Justice with its prestigious Harry M. Philo Award recognizing her leadership in protecting consumers from dangerous products. The Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles Trial Lawyer awarded Ms. Spagnoli its 2012 Trial Lawyer of the Year award. Loyola Law School awarded her its Trial Lawyer of the Year award in 2001. She was also recognized by New Lawyers Division of ATLA as the 2001 F. Scott Baldwin Most Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer. She was also nominated in 1999, 2001 and 2010 as Trial Lawyer of the Year by Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and in 2011 by Consumer Attorneys of California. Ms. Spagnoli has been repeatedly recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Attorneys in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, and one of its Top 50 Women Litigators since 2004. In 2016 - 2018, the Daily Journal named her as one of the Top 30 Plaintiff Attorneys in California. Ms. Spagnoli has served on the California Judicial Council Committee on Jury Instructions since 1997. She was the President of the Consumer Attorneys of California in 2009 and President of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles in 2002. Ms. Spagnoli also served as the President of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, a national organization of attorneys representing consumers in automotive product defect cases in 2011 – 2013. Ms. Spagnoli currently serves as a member of the board of the American Association for Justice and is a past chair of its Product Liability Section. She is also a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) where she holds the rank of Associate. In addition, she serves on as a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles Board of Overseers and is also a member of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice Board of Overseers.
