I Graduated from the National Law Center George Washington University in Washington D.C. After graduation I accepted a position as a Staff Attorney with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. After approximately 4 years I left the Public Defender Service and took a position as a Staff Attorney with The Southern Poverty Law Center. I was the first African American Attorney to hold this position. I tried numerous civil rights cases there and tried one of the first police shooting cases. After that position I moved home where I went into private practice. I was in the legislature for one term. I resigned to focus on private practice. I along with my partners formed the firm of Langston, Frazer, Sweet and Freese. I was able to obtain many multimillion dollar verdicts. I obtained a verdict in excess of 140,000,000.00 in a roll over case against Ford Motor Company. I obtained a verdict of 150,000,000.00 verdict against the manufacturer of the drug Phen/Phen. These are two of the many multimillion dollar verdicts I obtained. I had one case covered on court TV. I have had cases shown on Dateline, Snap and other news or crime shows. I received numerous award for my Civil Rights cases and other things.
