Bio

Mr. Carroll began his career at a large insurance defense law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. He quickly realized that he wanted to spend his legal career representing everyday people, not insurance companies, so he joined Buzzell, Welsh & Hill in May of 2008.

Mr. Carroll is admitted to practice before all state and superior courts in Georgia and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Georgia and Northern District of Georgia. He regularly practices before the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation. He has been admitted pro hac vice in other jurisdictions and has worked as co-counsel with attorneys outside of Georgia on various matters. Mr. Carroll specializes in serious personal injury cases, including cases involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, workplace injuries and deaths, wrongful death claims, medical negligence claims, long-term disability insurance disputes, and nursing home neglect.

Mr. Carroll was selected as a “Georgia Rising Star″ from 2012-2019 by SuperLawyers Magazine. He has also been named to the “Legal Elite,” published by Georgia Trend Magazine. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Macon Bar Association, Mr. Carroll is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Civil Justice Political Action Committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, a grassroots organization devoted to maintaining the strength and integrity of consumer rights in Georgia and protecting the constitutional right of individuals in Georgia to receive a trial by jury in civil cases.

Mr. Carroll enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, who is also a lawyer. They have two beautiful daughters, Emily and Maggie. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, reading, being a dad, and attending sporting events.
