Bio

Attorney Donald C. Moore, Jr. is the founder of The Moore Law Firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.   Working along side his son, Daniel N. Moore, Mr. Moore serves plaintiff clients throughout Ohio and Kentucky who have personal injury or wrongful death claims resulting from a preventable accident caused by someone else's negligent, careless or unlawful actions.

Throughout the course of his more than 38 years in practice, Mr. Moore has helped secure millions of dollars in settlements and jury verdicts for his clients, earning his membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and solidifying his reputation as one of the leading trial advocates in the region as well as the country.

Listed in the National Registry of Who's Who, Mr. Moore holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has received a Superb rating from Avvo.  In addition, he also received the Distinguished Practitioner in Residence award from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2010, a Top 100 High Stakes Litigators designation from America's Top 100 in 2017, and Achieved Diplomat Status in the National College of Advocacy's Achievement Recognition Program in 2018.

A 1976 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Moore attended Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1979.  The Ohio State Bar Association admitted him to practice the following year, and he is also licensed in Kentucky as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Ohio, the Eastern District of Kentucky, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U. S. District Court of South Carolina.

A leader in his field, Mr. Moore has served as president in addition to other leadership roles in that field. Further, he has served with the Ohio Association for Justice, where he also chaired the Tort and Insurance Committee.  He is the former president of the Clermont County Bar Association and is a member of The American Association for Justice and the Kentucky Justice Association, among his other professional affiliations.

Mr. Moore regularly serves as a judge for the Cincinnati Bar Association and Clermont County Bar Association Mock Trial Competitions as well as the August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Product Liability Moot Court Competition.  He also serves on the Boar of Advisers of Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law Advocacy Institute and he routinely volunteers his time and services with the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati.
